Everyone who worked under MP Papul must be exposed: Kuwait MP

Abdul Wahab Al-Babtain, member of Kuwait Parliament, said that it was necessary to expose everyone who worked under the command of Bangladeshi lawmaker Md Shahid Islam aka Kazi Papul in visa trading business and money trading regardless of their identities.

"Whoever was satisfied working under the command of the Bangladeshi MP, must be exposed and must be made an example for everyone as they offended our religion, country and himself," Al-Babtain twitted, reports Arab Times.

"They must be held accountable to the most severe account."

On June 7, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Kuwait arrested Kazi Papul on charges of human trafficking and money laundering.

The judge of Mushrif magistrate court sent him to jail denying his bail plea on the same day. And, the court denied his bail plea three times as of June 10.

Five Bangladeshi expatriates have testified against Papul before a Kuwait court. In their deposition, they confirmed paying up to 3000 dinars to him to go to Kuwait.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Ambassador to Kuwait SM Abul Kalam said the Embassy of Bangladesh in Kuwait will not interfere with the investigation carried out by the Kuwaiti authorities against MP Papul.
