Another innings defeat for Bangladesh in Test matches

The hosts won the first Test of a split series by and innings and 43 runs.

Bangladesh suffered another massive defeat in Test matches in Rawalpindi.

Batting in their second innings Bangladesh were bundled out by the home team on 168.

It took Pakistan an hour and 25 minutes on the fourth day to wrap up victory.

Bangladesh lost Mominul Haque early in the day on 41. The skipper was picked up by Shaheen Afridi.

Liton Das denied the Pakistan bowlers for a while but fell to Yaseer Shah for 29.

Then it was the turn of the tail-enders, who could not survive for long.

For Pakistan Yaseer Shah took 4 for 58. But, pick of the bowlers was Naseem Shah, who broke the Bangladesh batting line up with a hattrick at the closing stages on day 3.

Naseem registered figures of 24/4. 

Bangladesh scored 233 in their first innings. Pakistan amassed 445.
