Jatiya Party chief patron Rowshan Ershad today received Covid-19 vaccine at the Parliament Medical Center in the capital this afternoon.

The leader of the opposition received the vaccine as part of a mass vaccination program. Md Mamun Hasan, assistant private secretary to the leader confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.

After receiving the vaccine, she said, "The vaccine is completely safe. The vaccine is being given to save human lives. It is important for everyone to get the vaccine."

Doctors of the medical center of the parliament secretariat were present at the time.
