Education and job market coordination necessary for skilled manpower

Speakers at a programme have made some recommendations for creating an efficient future workforce emphasising the coordination between education and job market, and up to date policymaking.
They said this on Tuesday at the closing programme of combined national framework workshop for creating future employment held at the National Museum of Science and Technology auditorium organised by a2i.
Experts concerned have also underscored preparing real-time data on education, job and skills, and job and skills potentials.
"Despite many obstacles, we are working with the private sectors for sustainable development of the youth and to expand education for marginal population," said deputy minister for education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury who was present at the programme as the chief guest.
We are working to upgrade our educational institutes to prepare our students as skilled manpower for the future. On the eve of Mujib Year, we have initiated massive changes in all institutes, he added.
"With the help of a2i, we have prepared a national skills portal. And, based on these data we are helping skilled manpower get a job or be an entrepreneur. In the future, we will be able to work more efficiently, said a special guest at the programme Golam Md Hasibul Alam, executive chairman (secretary) at the National Skills Development Authority.
A2i project director (additional secretary) Md Abdul Mannan chaired the closing ceremony whereas a2i policy advisor Anir Chowdhury conducted the panel discussion.
