Concealing travel history, Narayanganj returnee dies in Satkhira

A 26-year-old man died on Saturday morning in Satkhira who concealed his travel history after returning from Narayanganj with coronavirus symptoms.
The deceased was identified as Harun who returned from one of the Covid-19 hotspot, Narayanganj five-seven days ago, according to local sources.
Firstly, Harun with Covid-19 symptoms was admitted to Shyamnagar Upazila Health Complex on the advice of a village doctor. After that he was shifted to Satkhira Sadar.
"He was in home quarantine after returning from Narayanganj about a week ago. Harun and his family members hid the travel history," Civil surgeon of Satkhira district Dr Hussain Shafayat said.
"We have placed two nurses in quarantine who came in contact with him. His wife's sample has already been collected for testing," he further added.
The hospital authority could not confirm the cause of death until the report comes.
