Six members of a family have been infected with coronavirus in Chattogram's Satkania.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Chattogram's Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said, "101 samples were tested at Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) and among them 10 came positive."
"Six patients of Satkania's Rupnagar area are of same family among whom four are men and two are women," he added.
Another patient coming from Rajbari was tested positive was admitted to Chattogram General Hospital. He is a government employee and lives in city's Madarbari area. His sample was collected and tested in Rajbari.
Till now, 48 patients have been detected with coronavirus and five of them died.
