Two buildings have been put under lockdown since Friday night in Chattogram city's Firingi Bazar area and Khulshi's Ispahani intersection after two coronavirus patients were detected there.

Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter to The Business Standaard.

"One 53-year old wood merchant and another 35-year old vegetable vendor tested Covid-19 positive among the 94 samples collected on Friday," he said, adding that both were taken to the isolation unit of Foujdarhat BITID hospital.
