As lockdowns have been imposed in countries around the world, low-income people are struggling to survive.
So, Bangladeshi businessmen in South Africa have stepped up to help the country's poor hit hard by Covid-19 outbreak.
They distributed processed and dry foods among the poor in Johannesburg, Capetown, Durban and some other cities and villages in the last few days.
And they will continue to distribute aid in different areas of the country amid the lockdown, said the Bangladeshi businessmen in South Africa.
South Africa has confirmed 3,034 Covid-19 infection cases and 52 deaths while 903 patients recovered.
