EBL BGCC Amateur Golf Championship kicks off in Ctg

A golf tournament for amateur golfers began at Bhatiary Golf and Country Club (BGCC) in Chattogram on Friday. Nearly 200 women and men golfers are competing for championship in different categories. 

The tournament has been organised by Bhatiary Golf and Country Club and Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) is the sponsor. 

President of BGCC, Major General S M Matiur Rahman, and Chairman of Eastern Bank Ltd, Md Showkat Ali Chowdhury, inaugurated the tournament this morning.

Award presentation ceremony will be held on February 22 evening at the same venue.  BGCC president as the chief guest will give away prizes among the winners. EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar and other dignitaries will also be present.
