‘We will free Dhaka residents from dengue outbreak’
Barrister Sheikh Taposh said this in an online inauguration of pesticide spraying at Nagar Bhaban Wednesday afternoon.

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh on Wednesday vowed to free Dhaka residents from dengue outbreak.
The mayor said this in an online inauguration of pesticide spraying at Nagar Bhaban in the afternoon, according to a press release.
He said, "DSCC has initiated a round-the-year mosquito control activity. Based on online application by Dhaka residents, DSCC will spray pesticides at the mosquito breeding grounds inside people's home or at construction buildings. We will free Dhaka residents from dengue outbreak."
"We will give this service to the residents of Dhaka at a very low price. To avail the service, the service recipient has to apply online through the specified link of Dhaka South City Corporation's web portal www.dscc.gov.bd. This service will be completed within three working days after the application," he added.
He further said, "The service can be availed in five categories and people have to pay a fee for the service."
Chief Executive Officer of Dhaka South City Corporation Shah Md Imdadul Haque, Chief Health Officer Brigadier General Sharif Ahmed, Prime Waste Management Officer Air Commodore Md Badrul Amin, Secretary Akramuzzaman and other senior officials also joined the programme.
