Bangladesh Venture invests in CHHIP Food Ltd

Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited has invested an undisclosed amount of money in CHHIP Food Limited, a fish-made frozen foods company in Bangladesh.

The announcement of the investment came on Monday at a deal signing ceremony at the lounge of Daffodil International University in the capital.

At the signing ceremony, Dr Md Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University and Chairman, Daffodil Group, Md Jahir Uddin, Managing Director (Acting), Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Family, Dr Mohamed Emran Hossain, COO, Daffodil Group, Shyamal Chandra Sarker, Chairman of CHHIP Food, Bipul Chandra Roy, Managing Director of CHHIP Food, Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited Team and other shareholders of CHHIP FOOD were present.

CHHIP Food will use the new investment for purchasing new sets of machinery for the automation of full process, managing the fish waste and its re-use, marketing and branding, according to a press statement issued by Bangladesh Venture.

The company is the pioneer of manufacturing fish-made frozen foods in Bangladesh. Fish balls, fish fingers, fish nuggets, fish sausages, fish spring roll, samosa and frozen paratha are its signature products that are Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) tested and HALAL certified, it also said. 

People can get the foods from Meena Bazar, CSD, Trust Family Needs, Nandan Mega shop, Lavender, Supreme Dinner, Unimart and their own outlets with CHHIP Food Branding.  

CHHIP Food has an aim to expand their business all over the country through setting up outlets with their own branding.
