Mercantile Bank inaugurates 7 Agent Banking outlets
People can open an account at the Mercantile Bank’s Agent Banking through biometric registration

Mercantile Bank Limited has launched seven Agent Banking outlets across the country to provide basic banking services to the unbanked population during the coronavirus situation.
The Chairman of the bank, Morshed Alam MP, inaugurated the outlets today virtually, read a press release.
People can open an account at the Mercantile Bank's Agent Banking through biometric registration. Customer can enjoy any services like opening savings or current A/C, MSS, FDR, cash deposit or withdrawal, money transfer and remittance collect through biometric registration.
The bank's Managing Director Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury said that utility bill, salary of government and private organizations, merchant payment, academic fees will be added to the MBL Agent Banking services soon.
The seven outlets are Tanim Telecom & General Store at Pipulia bazaar in South Cumilla, ACE Varities Store at West Debpur in Chagalnaiya's Monurhat Bazar, Alamgir Traders at Noringpur Bazar in Shahrasti, M/S Kausar Traders at Koroitali Bazar in Faridganj, Haque Traders at Main sarak in Laxmipur's Raypur, I Hai Homeo Hall at Panihar in Rajshahi's Godagari, M/S Mamun & Brothers at Nogorhat in Patuakhali's Baufal.
Mercantile Bank Agent Banking started its journey with AJS Trade Corporation at Amin Bazar, Savar on December 28, 2019.
