Selim Chowdhury admitted to hospital with Covid-19

Popular singer Selim Chowdhury has been admitted to a hospital in Sylhet today after contracting the coronavirus.

Confirming the information himself, Selim Chowdhury said that he is currently undergoing treatment at North East Medical College & Hospital in Sylhet after his reports came back positive yesterday.

Before being admitted to the hospital, he was at his village home in Shamsernagar of Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar.

Dr Touhid Ahmed civil surgeon of Moulvibazar said that the results of the samples sent to Dhaka on July 2 and 3 came back last night resulting in six infected in Kamalganj upazila.
