Covid-19 cases in police cross 5000
Till now, 15 policemen have died from the coronavirus
A total of 5,129 police personnel have tested positive for the novel coronavirus as of Monday.
Among them, 1,658 are from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), according to sources at the police headquarters.
Some 1,876 police personnel recovered from the viral disease till date.
Around 5,162 police personnel are under quarantine, while 1,206 others are in isolation.
Till now, 15 policemen have died from the coronavirus.
