Javed Patwari made Bangladesh ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Outgoing Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Javed Patwary have been appointed as the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular regarding this on Monday. "BCS (Police) Cadre Official Dr Mohammad Javed Patwari, BPM (Bar) is being transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so that he can join as the Ambassador of Bangladesh in Saudi Arabia for a duration of three years," the circular says.

His three years contract will begin from April 15 or his date of joining as the ambassador, the circular further reads.
