At least five women have reportedly been killed in three separate incidents ensued from family feud in Cumilla in the last two days.

In Burichang upazila, a rickshaw-puller, Lokman Hossain, 35, hacked his wife and mother-in-law to death on Tuesday evening.
On the previous day, a youth – Saiful Islam, 28, hacked his mother and sister-in-law to death in Nangalkot upazila. A minor girl also sustained injuries in the incident.
Locals said the two were drug addicts.
Meanwhile, the body of a 27-year-old woman – Sharmin Akter – was rescued from a water-body of Sadar Upazila on Wednesday. She reportedly left home following a dispute with her husband.
Police said they were looking into all the incidents.
