Tamim Iqbal once again stole the show in the 8th Bangladesh Cricket League as he scored a magnificent unbeaten 334 to break Raqibul Hasan's record of the highest innings in Bangladesh's domestic circuit in the match between Islami Bank East Zone and Walton Central Zone at Mirpur.

In the other match at Chattogram, riding on Shahriar Nafees, Shamsur Rahman and Mahmudullah Riyad's centuries, BCB South Zone set BCB North Zone a target of 454 to win the game.

At Mirpur, Tamim carried on from his unbeaten 222 on day two and went on to pick up his triple century of 407 deliveries. He continued on his merry way and went past Raqibul's 313* to achieve the highest individual innings in Bangladesh's domestic arena. With help from Yasir Ali Chowdhury who picked up a fifty, Tamim took East Zone to 555-2 before declaring the innings with a healthy lead of 342 runs.

In reply, riding on skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto's fifty, Central Zone finished on 115-3 as Raqibul Hasan and Shahidul Islam were unbeaten at the end of the day.

In the other match, South Zone started the day on 40-1 with Shahriar Nafees and Shamsur Rahman at the crease. This two put up a stand of 211 runs as they both picked up their hundreds. Nafees and Shamsur were dismissed for 111 and 109 but Anamul Haque, who had retired hurt on the previous day, and Mahmudullah put up a 155-run stand to push their lead to 453 before declaring. Mahmudullah scored a blistering century off just 70 deliveries and hit eight fours and five sixes on his way to the triple-figure.

In reply, North Zone finished the day unscathed on 22-0 as Mizanur Rahman and Ronu Talukder were at the crease.
