Another doctor dies of Covid-19
Dr AKM Shamsul Haque, a pediatrics specialist, has died from the novel coronavirus. He was 71.
He breathed his last at 3 pm on 3 December while undergoing treatment in the capital's Square Hospitals, says a Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) press release.
Dr Shamsul Haque had been working as a senior consultant in the Pediatrics Department of the Impulse Hospital in Dhaka.
The BMA mourned the demise, prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and expressed condolence to the bereaved family members.
With the latest one, a total of 113 physicians have so far died of or with Covid-19 symptoms.
