Sonali Bank to begin internet banking by March: CEO

Sonali Bank Limited is planning to begin internet banking by March, said Md Ataur Rahman Prodhan, CEO and managing director of the bank on Saturday.

He said adequate measures have been taken to address the risks of the new initiative.

He directed branch managers of the bank to work relentlessly to transform all the branches of Sonali Bank into profitable branches.

He made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the bank's Chattogram Region Business Development Exchange Meeting and Branch Manager Conference 2021 at a hotel in Cox's Bazar.

The conference was presided over by Md Jahangir Alam, general manager of Chattagram Office, Sonali Bank Ltd.

Md Zahidul Haque, deputy managing director, Subash Chandra Das, chief financial officer, Deputy General Managers Md Arshad Hossen, Mohammad Forkan, Mohammad Hossain, Md. Monir Hossen, Md Yakub Majumder and other branch managers of Chittagong region were present on the occasion.
