Shimanto bank launches three new services

Shimanto Bank has launched three new services - SMBL Nari Shakti, SMBL Technology Loan and SMBL Sainiker Bhabishyat to celebrate the new year.

The bank announced the launch of the services at a press conference held at its head office on Thursday, reads a press release.

Shahnila Islam Shanil hosted the inaugural function, where Mukhlesur Rahman, managing director and CEO, RF Rahman, head of Business and others were present, it added.

Regarding the Nari Shakti service, Mukhlesur Rahman said, 'We have launched the SMBL Nari Shakti service for the rural population. Through this service, they can borrow from TK10,000 to Tk100,000 at a very low interest. No collateral will be required to take this loan."

On the Technology loan, he said businessmen, doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, BGB members and employees of different professions between the ages of 22 and 60 can take a loan of Tk30,000 to TK200,000. The interest on this loan is only 7 percent.

Meanwhile, the Sainiker Bhabishyat service has been launched to double the hard-earned savings of the BGB soldiers, he said adding that their one-time deposit will double in eight years.

BGB soldiers can invest from TK50,000 to TK500,000.

Besides, they will also get loan facility against the deposited money.

Shimanto Bank started its journey in October 2016. At present the bank has 18 branches across the country.
