Asian Consumer Care to collect receivables through Brac Bank
Leveraging Brac Bank’s agent, banking channel Asian Consumer Care will be able to collect receivables from its distributors even beyond stipulated banking hours
Brac Bank Ltd has signed an agreement with Asian Consumer Care (Pvt) Ltd - a joint venture between ACI group and Dabur International that manufactures, promotes, and distributes Dabur products in Bangladesh.
Under the agreement, Asian Consumer Care will collect receivables from its distributors through 187 branches and over 430 agent banking outlets of Brac Bank across the country, reads a press release.
Leveraging Brac Bank's agent banking channel, Asian Consumer Care will be able to receive their daily collection in real time, even beyond stipulated banking hours.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, deputy managing director and head of corporate banking at Brac Bank, and Biswajit Kumar Das, country manager at Asian Consumer Care, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Asian Consumer Care was represented by Finance Controller Rakesh Kumar Agrawal and Head of Sales Mohammad Farhad Un Nabi.
Meanwhile, Nazmur Rahim, head of alternate banking channels; Sajid Rahaman, head of relationship unit-1; and Jabedul Alam, head of trade development and cash management were present on behalf of Brac Bank.
