Agrani Bank's mobile app Agrani Remit and its developer company FlexM Pte. Ltd have won the 'Fintech Award 2020' at a fintech festival in Singapore.

The Central Bank Monetary Authority of Singapore organized the festival, said a press release.

The App secured 3rd spot out of 326 innovations from 55 countries under Asian fintech category.

Agrani Exchange House Pte. Ltd., Singapore, a flagship remittance company of Agrani Bank Limited, launched the app Agrani Remit on 17 March, to mark the 100th birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the app allowed Bangladeshi expatriates living in Singapore to send their remittance easily using the mobile phones.
