State Minister for Cultural Affairs receives second dose of Covid-19 vaccine
It is scheduled to launch the second phase of vaccination drive across the country from 8 April.
State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid received the second shot of Covid-19 vaccine at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital on Thursday.
After being vaccinated with the second dose, the minister said he was physically well and normal and developed no side effect.
Earlier on 28 January, KM Khalid received his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine as the second recipient among the cabinet members in part of a campaign to prevent rumour about vaccination and encourage people to get vaccinated.
The minister was supposed to get his second shot on 28 March. However, he received it today due to a tight official schedule and his staying outside of the capital.
It is scheduled to launch the second phase of vaccination drive across the country from 8 April.
The government started its nationwide vaccination programme on 8 February.
