Labour Secretary Abdus Salam tests positive for Covid-19

His condition is stable now. There are no symptoms other than physical weakness

KM Abdus Salam, secretary of Ministry of Labour and Employment, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Ministry's Public Relations Officer Akhtarul Islam confirmed the matter today.

Abdus Salam took the Covid test yesterday as he was feeling physically weak for the last two to three days.

"His condition is stable now. There are no symptoms other than physical weakness," he added.

The labour secretary is currently isolated at home.
