Former BSMMU Prof Kibria dies of Covid-19

Former chairman of the Urology Department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Prof Dr SAM Golam Kibria has died of Coivid-19.
The BSMMU professor breathed his last on early Friday while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Secretary General of Bangladesh Medical Association, Ehteshamul Haque Chowdhury Dulal, confirmed this information to The Business Standard.

Dr Kibria was a student of the 6th batch of Sylhet Medical College.
So far, 18 physicians have died of Covid-19 and more than 1,000 have been infected with the virus to date.
