DNCC Mayor Atiqul recovers from Covid-19

Earlier on 12 October, the Mayor Atiqul Islam and his wife Dr Shaila Shagufta Islam tested positive for novel coronavirus infection

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam has recovered from Covid-19.

Farid Uddin, APS of the mayor, confirmed the matter to The Business Standard on Tuesday.

Earlier on 12 October, the Mayor Atiqul Islam and his wife Dr Shaila Shagufta Islam tested positive for novel coronavirus infection.

Rishad Morshed, APS-2 of the mayor, also tested positive for the dreaded virus.
