CID, bKash discuss collaboration to ensure MFS safety
The two parties discussed about possible ways to collaborate in a meeting on Monday
bKash, the country's largest mobile financial service provider, had a meeting with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) with a desire to work collaboratively to ensure customers safety in coming days.
The view exchange meeting was held recently at the CID headquarters in the capital's Malibagh area, said a press release.
At the meeting, the two parties discussed how they can work jointly to ensure safety in Mobile Financial Services (MFS).
The MFS is greatly considered as an efficient, convenient and popular technology-based service for financial transactions.
CID Chief and Additional Inspector General of Police Barrister Md Mahbubur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Kamal Quadir, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of bKash, was present at the event.
Deputy inspector general (DIG) of Cyber Police Centre (CPC) of the CID Jamil Ahmed, DIG (Training) Md Shah Alam, Additional DIG of CPC Md Kamrul Ahsan, Chief External and Corporate Affairs Officer of bKash Major General (Retd) Sheikh Md Monirul Islam and other senior officers also attended the meeting.
