Senior ASP Anisul’s death: Mind Aid Hospital director arrested
Niaz was arrested from the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, where he was taking treatment
Police arrested Dr Niaz Morshed, director of Mind Aid Hospital, on Tuesday night over the death of Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anisul Karim Shipon in an assault by the hospital employees.
Niaz was arrested from the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, where he was taking treatment, said Kazi Shahiduzzaman, officer-in-charge of Adabor Police Station.
Now, his treatment is being continued at the hospital under police custody, the OC added.

With his arrest, so far 11 staff of the hospital have been arrested over the incident. Police also shut down the hospital.
The senior ASP was allegedly beaten to death by the hospital's staff on Monday.
His father filed a case accusing 15 hospital staff in this connection.
Besides, a Dhaka court on Tuesday remanded the 10 employees for seven days in the case.
