Ex-Chhatra league leader goes missing in capital
Omer Faruque used to do business of Air conditioner
Ex-Chhatra League leader of Chittagong University unit Omar Faruque, who is also a businessman, went missing from capital on Sunday.
A general diary for missing person has been filed with Hatirjheel Police Station by his family members.
"Omar went to his own office at Razzak Plaza of Magbazar area in capital from his house around 10:30am on Sunday morning," said Md. Mamun, brother of the missing person.
"His wife was able to reach him over phone till around 2:00pm on that day. No further trace of him could be found since then," he added.
Md. Shafique, a relative of Omer Faruque said, "Omer Faruque used to do business of Air conditioner. He told his wife that he will go to Baitul Mokarram Market and he wouldn't return home at noon."
He further said, "We found CCTV footage of his entry into his office but we couldn't found footage of he left the office."
