Dengue test fees: 4 hospitals, diagnostic centres fined
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) fined four diagnostic centres and hospitals Tk18 lakh in Dhaka for violating instructions on dengue test fees.
A RAB mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam raided Kakrail's Islami Bank Specialised Hospital, Apon Medical, Medicus Diagnostic Centre and Sohag Diagnostic Centre on Wednesday and fined them.
Medicus Diagnostic Centre and Sohag Diagnostic Centre were shut down as they gave report to patients without any diagnosis.

“Those hospitals and diagnostic centres were charging double than the rate set by the government and were giving discount on it,” Magistrate Sarwar added.
Four separate cases were filed in this regard.
