Sheikh Jamal beat Chittagong Abahani 2-0

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club defeated Chattogram Abahani Limited by 2-0 goals in the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Saturday. 

Gambian striker Ebou Kanteh and his compatriot Solomon King Kanform netted one goal each for Sheikh Jamal DC. 
Kanteh opened the account for Sheikh Jamal in the 5th minute while Solomon King Kanform doubled the margin in the 37th minute (2-0). 

In the day’s another match, Arambagh Krira Sangha outplayed Rahmatgonj MFS by 6-3 goals at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh. 

Cameroonian forward Paul Emile Biyaga and midfielder Mohammad Arifur Rahman scored two goals each while Matthew Chinedu and Mohammed Shaharier Bappy scored one goal each for Arambagh KS. 

Striker Siyo Zunapio Jeancy of Congo, midfielder Sohel Rana and Rakibul Islam netted one goal each for Rahmatganj MFS.

Despite day’s well-merited victory, Arambagh KS remained at the 5th slot securing 30 points from 22 matches while  Rahmatgonj MFS remained at the 10th slot with previous collection of 19 points from 21 matches,  

On the other hand, Sheikh Jamal DC also remained at the previous 6th slot securing 27 points from 22 matches while Chattogram Abahani remained at the 7th slot with previous collection of 23 points from 21 matches.
