Tisha to debut as TV host
The first episode of the show will feature popular actors Masuma Rahman Nabila and Siam
Popular actor Nusrat Imroz Tisha has turned into an anchor for a TV show titled 'The Box'. The celebrity game show is produced by telecommunication giant Grameenphone.
Talking about the game show, Tisha told The Business Standard, "We will connect two celebrities through video call and they will receive two boxes beforehand."
"Each box will have three more boxes inside it, containing interesting games. My celebrity guests will compete against each other and earn points by winning each game," she added.
"The person who will earn the highest points will be the winner of that episode and will receive another box filled with gifts."
Tisha is very excited about the show. "I have hosted stage and live shows before, which were aired on different TV channels. And when I was at school, I used to host various programs. However, this is the first time I am hosting a live TV show. Done in digital format, we have tried our best to make it entertaining for the viewers. We will participate in the show from our respective homes."
The first episode of the show will feature popular actors Masuma Rahman Nabila and Siam. Season one will have five episodes, featuring two celebrities on each episode. The creators of the show hope to make more seasons based on the audience reaction to this one.
'The Box' is directed by Shahrier Shakil. The show will air from December 31, every Thursday at 9pm, on NTV. It will also air every Friday on ATN Bangla at 7:50pm. Viewers can watch the show on the official YouTube channel of Grameenphone as well.
