Police action to tackle Covid-19 from 21 March: IGP
Bangladesh Police will carry out a motivational programme to control coronavirus situation from 21 March
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed has instructed to run business and economic activities in accordance with hygiene rules.
He came up with the directive at a news briefing on Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital on Thursday.
The IGP said that the Bangladesh Police will carry out a motivational programme to control coronavirus situation from 21 March in compliance with the health rules.

Everyone must wear mask to prevent coronavirus. No one should go out without a mask. If necessary, the police will also distribute free masks, said Benazir
He also said that if a public rally or meeting needs to be held, it has to be done with permission and following the rules of health.
