GP to donate 50,000 PPEs and 10,000 PCR kits to coronavirus hospitals
The PPE units will include - protective coverall, n95 mask, gloves and goggles
Grameenphone, in collaboration with a2i & the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has confirmed to donate 50,000 unit medical-grade professional PPE and 10,000 PCR Test Kits to the hospitals designated for coronavirus treatment by DGHS.
The PPE units will include - protective coverall, n95 mask, gloves and goggles. These will protect the health professionals in the frontline & ICU duty battling the outbreak situation.
"We welcome Grameenphone's proactive effort to initiate this support during this difficult time, and I believe other companies will also come forward and stand beside the government to tackle the Covid-19 outbreak to the best of their abilities," Minister of Post and Telecommunication Mustafa Jabbar said.
"This is our utmost responsibility to contribute as individuals and corporations during this unprecedented challenging time globally. No nation was ever ready to tackle this situation; I encourage all to come forward collectively in fighting back Covid-19 in this difficult time," CEO of Grameenphone Yasir Azman said.
