Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has left for Singapore for follow-up medical treatment.

According to a press release, the finance minister left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday night.

Earlier, the lawmaker went to Dubai for follow-up treatment in October. However, his need for follow-up treatment has again become urgent as he did not receive proper treatment at that time due to various obstacles caused by the novel coronavirus.

The finance minister hopes to return to the country by Friday, the press release added.
