BCB mourns Selim Abedin Chowdhury's death
Selim Abedin, 72, also worked as the manager of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He breathed his last at a city hospital in Chattogram at 6:05pm on Saturday.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has mourned the death of its former board member and renowned sports organizer Selim Abedin Chowdhury.
Selim Abedin, 72, also worked as the manager of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He breathed his last at a city hospital in Chattogram at 6:05pm on Saturday.
Two former national cricketers – Minhajul Abedin Nannu – now national selector – and Nurul Abedin Nobel – are his relatives.
BCB extended its deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Selim Abedin.
Meanwhile, Chattogram Divisional Sports Association also mourned the death of their former general secretary Salim Abedin, who was also the former secretary general of Chattogram Mohammedan Sporting Club.
