Former law minister, also the newly elected president of Supreme Court Bar Association, Abdul Matin Khasru has been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) with Covid-19 infection.
He was hospitalised on 16 March after his Covid-19 report came positive.
"Abdul Matin was taken to the ICU around 12pm on Sunday after his health condition deteriorated," Khasru's personal assistant Advocate Md Mohin confirmed the matter to the media on Tuesday.
"His oxygen level is under control now. However, the level of sodium has reduced slightly," Mohin added.
On March 15, Abdul Matin Khasru gave samples for coronavirus test. The report came positive the next day. On the same day, he was admitted to CMH.
