Bogura adolescent dies in coronavirus isolation
Samples have been collected from the body for the coronavirus test and will be sent to the IEDCR tomorrow
A 13-year-old boy named Shiyam has died in the coronavirus isolation ward at Mohammad Ali hospital in Bogura on Wednesday.
Resident Medical Officer at the hospital Dr Md Shafiq Amin Kajol confirmed it to The Business Standard.
Samples have been collected from the body for the coronavirus test and will be sent to the IEDCR tomorrow.
Dr Kajol said, "Shiyam had been referred to our hospital from Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday noon. He had leg pain, fever and breathing problems."
Shiyam's family members told the doctors that the leg pain started a week ago and then the adolescent boy gradually developed the fever.
Finally, when the breathing problems started, they took the boy to the hospital.
