UIU, CBLU hold online Faculty Development Programme 

United International University (UIU), Bangladesh, and Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU) Bhiwani, India jointly organized an online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in a bid to allow academic leaders to rethink their teaching methods and contents during Covid-19.

UIU Prof Vice-Chancellor Dr Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman and CBLU Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar Mittal inaugurated the program on April 27, a press release reads.

The programme titled "Skill Set in Turbulent Times: Industry Experiences & Challenges" was held till May 1 online using Zoom.

Topics discussed in the sessions are Online Teaching-learning, Online Work Opportunities; Business Strategies during Disasters, Employee Appraisals during Pandemic, Corporate Social Responsibility during Covid-19 and many others.

The programme guided participants to plan their teaching pedagogy and curriculum to bridge the industry-academia gap in a more efficient way. 

Around 160 faculty members from Bangladesh and India have participated in this FDP.

Dean of School of Business and Economics of UIU Prof Abul H Azam delivered his closing remarks.

The session ended with a vote of thanks by Chairperson of Department of Management of CBLU Prof Sunita Bharatwal.
