Country will be ‘Sonar Bangla’ by 2041: Information minister
Dr Hasan Mahmud stated this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the newly-elected committee of Junior Chamber International on Friday
The country will have transformed into "Sonar Bangla [Golden Bengal]" by 2041, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and with the cooperation of the country's people, said Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Friday.
Hasan, also joint general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, was speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the newly-elected committee of Junior Chamber International (JCI) in a city hotel, said a press release.
"We have to dream not only for ourselves and families but also for the entire country. In this way, the country will attain its goal," the minister said to the youths of the new committee.

The Prime Minister's Special Assistant Shah Ali Farhad was the special guest. Meanwhile, newly-elected JCI President Niaz Morshed, Elite Vice-President Imran Quadir and Chairman of Fortune Shoes Ltd Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, among others, spoke at the occasion.
