3 architecture students receive KSRM Award

KSRM Steel Plant Ltd has awarded three architecture students under the "KSRM Awards for Future Architects: Best Undergraduate Thesis" programme to encourage young architects of the country.

The awardees are - Arman Alam of Stamford University, Bristy Sarkar of Ahsan Ullah University of Science and Technology, Rahman Golam Mahmudur of American International University-Bangladesh.

On Wednesday evening, the awards were handed over to the winners at the InterContinental Dhaka in the capital. 

The judicial board selected the winners after demonstrating the project of the best research paper of 10 educational institutions.

Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim, Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of KSRM Shahriar Jahan, Director Sarwar Jahan, Institute of Architects, Bangladesh (IAB) President Jalal Ahmed were present, among others, at the programme.
