Brothers Union beat NoFel SC 2-1

Midfielder Mannaf Rabby and Sudanese forward James Moga scored one goal each for Brothers Union in the 19th and 80th minutes respectively while midfielder Jamir Uddin scored the lone goal for NoFel SC in the 50th minute.

Brothers Union beat NoFel SC 2-1

In a battle of two lowly teams, Brothers Union FC beat NoFel Sporting Club by 2-1 goals in the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Thursday. 

Midfielder Mannaf Rabby and Sudanese forward James Moga scored one goal each for Brothers Union in the 19th and 80th minutes respectively while midfielder Jamir Uddin scored the lone goal for NoFel SC in the 50th minute. 
 
In day’s another match, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC defeated Team BJMC by 1-0 goal at Shaheed Bulu Stadium in Noakhali. 

Japanese forward Yusuke Kato scored the match-winner for the Muktijoddha Sangsad in the 81st minute. 

The day’s other match between league leaders Bashundhara Kings and Arambagh Krira Sangha was washed out due to heavy rain at the Rafique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.  

The match was abandoned after eight minutes. 

After the day’s matches, Brothers Union advanced to the 11th slot from 12th securing 16 points from 19 matches while NoFel SC remained at the 10th slot with better goal difference despite the same 16 points from 19 matches.

Despite winning the match, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC remained at their previous 8th slot securing 21 points from 19 matches while Team BJMC remained at bottom with their previous collection of 8 points from 20 matches.
