The subscribers of Bongo, a digital Bangla film platform, now can watch the award winning Indian Bangla film, Akashi Pullover.

The digital world premiere of the film has already been completed on the app-based film streaming platform, said a press release.

The heterogeneous film, directed by Orpheus Mukhoti, was honored at the Santiago International Film Festival of Chile.

In South Film and Arts Academy Festival, it won awards simultaneously under three categories -- best drama feature, best art direction in feature film, and best production design in feature film.

The plot of the award-winning film is interesting. The story developed based on an elderly woman who along with her domestic help used to live in a house.

At one stage, the women got the girl married, but did not allow her to live with her husband.

The elderly woman who never had a conjugal life had been working as a sewing grandma. In such a circumstance, a boy came to her life and the story continued.

Bongo is the first and largest video streaming platform in Bangladesh. Spectators from all over the world can watch the film using the android, iOS app and from www.bongobd.com.
