7 bankers promoted to deputy managing directors

The government has promoted seven general managers in state-owned commercial banks and financial institutions to the posts of deputy managing directors.

Among the promoted persons are Md Murshedul Kabir, Md Amirul Hasan, and Sheikh Md Jaminur Rahman, who were general managers of the Janata Bank.

Md Abdus Salam Molla, and Mahmudul Amin Masud, who were general managers of the Agrani Bank, were also promoted to deputy managing directors.

Mohammad Jahangir, who was a general manager of the Rupali Bank, and Md Rifat Hasan, general manager of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh, were also promoted.

The Financial Institution Division issued a notice in this regard on Sunday.
