Asadul Islam, the prime accused of the attack on Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wahida Khanam and her father, will be produced before a Dinajpur court today afternoon.

Imam Jafar, officer-in-charge of Detective Branch (DB) of police and investigation officer of the case, confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.

"Asadul was handed over to us at around 3:30 am on Sunday. We interrogated him after admitting him in a hospital. Asadul will be produced before the court between 3 pm to 4 pm," he said.

On Saturday, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) handed over Asadul to Ghoraghat Police Station. He was then handed over to DB police.
