The government will monitor 30 private television channels to prevent broadcast of rumours centring the outbreak of coronavirus.
Fifteen officials have been designated to monitor the television channels.
The Ministry of Information has issued the order on March 24.

According to the order, each of the officials will monitor two 2 television channels.
Upon finding any television channel spreading propaganda or rumor on coronavirus, the officials must immediately notify the matter to the ministry for shutting it down.
