Now Chakma people can use Facebook in own language
Users will have to visit the ‘Language and Region’ under settings option to avail the language.
Facebook has added Chakma language after Bangla.
Social media giant Facebook added Chakma recently as the second language after Bangla for the Bangladesh’s indigenous community.
From now on people can choose Chakma language to post and comment on Facebook.
There are approximately 10-15 lakh Chakma Facebook users in different countries including Bangladesh and India.

Jyoti Chakma is the man behind the initiative to incorporate Chakma language. He submitted a written application to Facebook authority in this regard few years back.
