Bangladesh national football team skipper Jamal Bhuyan will participate in India's I-League next year where he will play for Kolkata Mohammedan.
The midfielder will return to Bangladesh prior to the second round of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) to play for Saif Sporting Ltd.
He will earn 7,000 USD per month in the Indian club.
Saif Sporting Club Ltd posted a status on its Facebook page which read, "As Kolkata Mohammedan expressed keen interest in roping in Jamal Bhuyan, today Saif Sporting Ltd signed a trilateral agreement with them. It suggests that Jamal will play for Kolkata Mohammedan in the I-League and will return to Bangladesh by April 20, 2021 to play in the second round of the Bangladesh Premier League for Saif Sporting Ltd."
"We hope that Jamal Bhuyan will live up to the expectations while playing for Kolkata Mohammedan and his performance there will glorify the name of Bangladesh and Saif Sporting Ltd," it added.
