NRB Bank gets new deputy managing director

NRB Bank Limited has appointed Mr Md Shakir Amin Chowdhury as its new deputy managing director.

Prior to the appointment, he was the deputy managing director of Dhaka Bank Limited, said a press release on Tuesday.

Shakir Amin Chowdhury did his graduate in Agricultural Economics from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. He has 35 years of banking experience.

He started his banking career as a trainee officer with Arab Bangladesh Bank Limited, where he played a major role as Branch Manager, AML, Corporate Banking, Credit Management, Foreign Trade, Branch Operations etc.

He also worked at AB Bank Limited where he had played a major managerial role.
