Shopping malls, markets will remain closed during lockdown
The shopping malls and markets across the country will remain closed during the one-week strict lockdown from 14 April.
The government made the disclosure in a gazette notification today.
Besides, Kitchen markets will remain open from 9am to 3pm daily in open places maintain hygiene rules.
Restaurants can provide home deliveries only from 12pm to 7pm and 12am to 6am daily.
However, factories and industries will remain open upon ensuring workers' safety and health issues.
The government will impose a 7-day countrywide lockdown, starting from Wednesday as Covid-19 situation has taken a very dangerous turn in Bangladesh.
